Empathic Healing

Connecting with Deep Wisdom

This past glorious sunny Seattle fall Saturday in Volunteer Park, I had a conversation with Jeff Baker, an empathic healer, and curious as a cat, I  began exploring this medium of healing.  While there was no wikipedia definition for empathic healer, there was one on about.com:

“Empathy is the ability to read and understand people and be in-tune with or resonate with others, voluntarily or involuntarily of one’s empath capacity.

Empaths have the ability to scan another’s psyche for thoughts and feelings or for past, present, and future life occurrences. Many empaths are unaware of how this actually works, and have long accepted that they were sensitive to others.”  (http://healing.about.com/cs/empathic/a/uc_empathtraits.htm)

While our conversation flowed like a river, 3 themes emerged:

  1. There is a depthless Source from which infinite love, infinite power, and infinite Wisdom can be accessed by you to heal yourself.
  2. Anyone and everyone can access this Source by tapping into the oneness, the deep energetic connections, that exist between all human beings, animals, plants, and inanimate matter.
  3. Living in the eternal state of WOW and being in a state of deep gratitude of the goodness that does exist in your life only serves to attract more of that goodness to you.

As a transformational life coach, my focus is on the energetic healing of the soul, and yet, as all things are deeply connected, mind-body-spirit, my clients have reported to me a physical increase in energy, a decrease in pain, and a sense of flow and ease in their body following our sessions.  There is something profoundly empowering about healing that happens on any level, as what heals the mind, heals the body and the spirit, and what heals the spirit, heals the mind and the body, and what heals the body, heals the mind and the spirit.

Much love, Jodi
